I deposited a check using the Chase mobile banking app, on - -, 2016. The app deposited the check twice. I called to make sure everything was okay. They deducted the amount of the check from my account. A few days later, the check bounces due to it obviously having just been deposited. The check was deposited, but I 'm out the amount of the check - Chase took it from me and is not returning it.
