Citibank Credit card department,
On -/-/16 I made payment in full on my Citibank - - credit card. Today I logged into my Citibank online account to get a copy of the statement showing that my balance was paid in full. To my surprise, I could download the - statement, and the - statement, but not the - statement on which my payoff transaction would appear. I used the bank 's online Live Chat feature to contact them about the problem. Their representative, -, stated that they do not provide statements when the account has a zero balance, so no statement was generated for - 2016. I pointed out that I had made a large payment during that statement cycle, so there was a transaction on the account, & even though the ending balance was $0.00, the starting balance was not $0.00. I should therefore receive a statement for that month, which did have some account activity, as proof of my payment and of my zero balance due.
