Credit monitoring or identity protection Problem with fraud alerts Texas
On Thursday, - -, 2016 I receive a Temporary Initial Security Alert Notification ( - ) from Experian in the mail dated Friday - -, 2016. This was the very first indication of an Unauthorized Fraud Alert ( UFA ) being applied to my credit reports without my knowledge or authorization. I called Experian the next day ( Friday, - -, 2016 ) to have the Unauthorized Fraud Alert ( UFA ) removed. On Thursday, - -, 2016 I receive an Initial Security Alert Notification ( - ) from Experian in the mail dated Friday - -, 2016. I called Experian the same day to have the Unauthorized Fraud Alert ( UFA ) removed and they told me there was no Fraud Alert on my credit report and this one was removed when I called to remove the first -. The notice I received in the mail ( and the online status information ) shows - alerts - ALERT - -/-/2016 - & - ALERT I PH -/-/2016 ] when I only had removed the -. In fact I was told that there could only be - fraud alert on my credit report at any given time but for some
DID NOT add or request an alert. - ; that is my previous phone number from 10 years ago. If I had made the request, why would n't I just use my current phone number? I called Experian again on Friday, - -, 2016 to remove my old telephone number - - - - from my credit report because it was being used by someone ( impersonating me ) to identify themselves as me in order to put fraud alters on my credit report. This action created a third Experian - or at least a continuation of an earlier Experian Dispute. I called Experian again on Monday, - -, 2016 and a supervisor from Experian told me that the second Fraud Alert was sent to Equifax ( by a girl named - ) on Friday, - -, 2016 in retaliation for my request to have my old phone number removed from my credit report. He did tell me however that it should n't be possible to send a Fraud Alert to - if there was n't - at Experian in the first place or was that the second place. Curious! Other outrageous explanations involve " Back-To-The-Future-esk '' Time Travel paradoxes where another agency must go back to Friday the - so that I can receive a Security Notices from Experian on Thursday the - and Experian can notify them on the Sunday the - so a Brand New Fraud Alert will be waiting for me to remove on Monday the -. I was even told that Experian also sent an alert to - which - refused to corroborate. This was all done to avoid telling me the truth. This guy told me lie after lie in an attempt to tell me something plausible that I might choose to believe or something he thought I wanted to hear. Finally he told me that they where obligated to report fraud if they get a feeling or an impression of fraud as defined by the industry not by the dictionary. This is - and - - run amuck. This is like someone breaking a window ( personal property damage ) when a dog is left in a hot car or running a round in a panic when someone 's child is crying in the - - non-of-your-business ). On Thursday, - -, 2016 I received a Disputes Results Notice in the mail indicating my previous Telephone Number had been deleted from my Credit Report. I did n't want to remove my old telephone number from my credit report but I felt compelled to take some sort of action short of another CFPB complaint to make my presences known. Now here we are! So far and to date I have removed - Fraud Alert from Experian, - Fraud Alerts from TransUnion and - Fraud Alerts from Equifax since the last week in - 2016.
