JPMorgan Chase & Co. Credit card department,
On - -, 2016 I received pre-certification from my mortgage lender based on my credit score of -. On - - Chase erroneously reported credit card account : - with a balance of $10000.00 and usage of 99 % of credit which resulted in a damaging drop to my credit score of -. In less than 24 hours I will be going into settlement/closing on my primary residence after a week of painful negotiations, where my credit will go through a final review and display this erroneous, fraudulent, account on my profile, and I want Chase to be held liable for the potential of me losing my home, and/or no longer being honored the pre-authorized fixed rate of 3.25 % for a 30-year mortgage, which was calculated prior to the fraudulent report that Chase applied to my account. I have been on the phone with Chase for seven hours and still on the phone trying to resolve this. They first gave me an extremely hard time claiming they did nothing wrong and then admitted their error and sent me a fax documenting the erroneous report with the updated correct information, however the 3-5 business days turnaround is too long as
on me. I called back and spoke to - - in the same unit and he was apologetic, sympathetic and helpful and did what he could to contact -, but they still said it would take 72 hours to be removed and for the score to be recalculated. I beg of you to hold Chase accountable for this is complete injustice, fraud, and criminal. They need to contact each of the credit bureaus immediately, in physically speech to each bureau individually ( an electronic processing of 6 business days is not acceptable in my situation ) and have this account removed and request a rapid rescore from each bureau and I want physical documentation from each bureau that it has been removed and I want my rapid rescore provided from each so that I am not in financial ruin, and Chase needs to shoulder the cost of the rapid rescore not me. How can Chase be allowed to do something like this please ensure that they are penalized in some way, this is absolutely outrageous. How do banks continue to be allowed to hurt law-abiding citizens of our country without any recourse or accountability?
