Medical Disclosure verification of debt right to dispute notice not received
United Consumers Inc Debt collection department,
Medical Disclosure verification of debt Right to dispute notice not received Virginia
I did not receive notice in the mail of my right to dispute this debt AND I did not receive any notice in the mail of an attempt by this company to collect a debt. The debt collection agency had an apartment number - - - - in my address thus making the address invalid/inaccurate. They claim to have sent me a letter but will not provide me any proof of a letter showing notice of collection of debt. I have called this agency on numerous occasions to try to get proof that they sent me a letter in the mail to no avail. Each time I speak with this office they are extremely rude, will not allow me to voice my concern and continuously speak over me and rush me off the phone. Today, - - - I called this office and was told by a woman " I do not have time to dispute this debt with you, I have people in the office ''. I feel that I am being discriminated against and that this company is using unfair business tactics to damage my credit for no apparent reason.
that I never received any type of letter about this debt or any other communication from this collection agency and then asked what address they had on file. I was told the address they had was - - - Unit -, I then told the person I was speaking with that address was inaccurate as there is no " Unit - '' and then voiced my concern to that being the reason that I did not receive the letter.I live in a town house with no " Unit '' association but there are also apartments in my community so I am sure if the letter was delivered it was delivered to someone else. Nobody at this establishment will use ethical practices to realize they had the wrong address entered into the system and that I, the customer, is telling the truth that I never received notification. Once I told them of my address, they claimed to update their system and delete the " UNIT - '' association off of my profile at the time when I paid the account in full. I have disputed this illegal, inaccurate, unethical and wrong information with all three credit bureaus to no avail. Each time I submit a dispute, - - -, decides to reject my dispute of this account without researching their systems completely. If - -, can not review my phone call with them in - - to realize that they had my address wrong then they are discriminating against me and being extremely unethical. I have never had a collection account on my credit report and this is damaging to my life, my career & my well being and extremely upsetting that I could possibly have a derogatory account on my credit report for the next 7 years due to INACCURATE INFORMATION. Please help me.
