I purchased a defective product from a company and Bank of America, my credit card company, requested unduly burdensome and impossible-to-obtain proof for me to prove my claim. They failed to protect me from a merchant who is deliberately not supporting their defective product, despite my never being late on a single payment in my 12 or so years as a cardholder.
