JPMorgan Chase & Co. Credit card department,
Advertising and marketing Texas
- - Mileage Plus Explorer Card is through Chase Bank. - / Chase offers - bonus miles " after you spend $1000.00 on purchases in the first three months from account opening. '' That statement is on an advertisement on the wall of every airport that - - serves, it 's on the brochure in every seatback, and it 's on the card 's website. ( The link is too long to post. Just - " - - Plus card. '' The first thing you see is the - bonus mile offer. ) We more than met the requirement. When the points were not added to our account I spoke with a Chase rep ( name of rep and date of call available ) who looked at our card usage, agreed we had met the requirement, and attempted to get the miles credited to our account. In response I received a letter - - from - -, Customer Service Specialist at Chase who denied that we had met the requirement. That precipitated my second call ( name of rep and date of call available ). The rep agreed we were entitled to the bonus miles and said that she was
the open date. Since you were outside of that timeframe, I regret that I am unable to take further action regarding the enrollment offer you requested. '' Please note : my complaint has nothing to do with " matching a better offer. '' - - has the wrong account in mind or something. I called - - six times at different times of the day from -/-/16 to -/-/16. Each time I had to leave a message. - - never returned my calls. I am exceedingly provoked by Chase attempting to stiff me, and by - - refusing to answer my calls. What 's the point of a Service Specialist putting a phone number with the hours he takes calls at the bottom of his letter if he does n't return calls? All I want however, is for Chase to honor the offer that they made. A check box below asks how much money we lost. We have lost nothing out of pocket, but - miles will fly me or my wife to California and back - which is worth about $ -. One of the reasons we signed up for the card was the offer, so in that sense they are defrauding us of as much as $500.00. - -
