I received a letter from a creditor fro an unpaid debt to - -. I have not had an account with this company for at least 4 years and when I canceled my services in 2012 my account balance was paid in full and all equipment returned. I have not heard anything from this company in 4 years but suddenly a collection account popped up on my credit report and i received a letter in the mail. The name on the letter was the incorrect spelling leading me to believe this may be a false collection. I do not owe any debt to this company and the statute of limitations in AZ is supposed to be 3 years, which has passed anyway. This also appeared on my credit report which concerns me.
