Payment Due Date was Saturday, - -, and was charged a Late Fee by Chase on Sunday, - -. Made Electronic Payment ( ACH ) on first Banking Day after Due Date, Monday, - -. Like - - Mail, ACH is only 'delivered ' on Banking Days, but Chase - illegally I believe, insists payment must be received on Due Date, even though that is impossible. When I called, Chase said, since it was my first time, Chase would 'forgive ' the - -. It appears Chase actually does n't want people looking into their illegal practice of charging this Late Fee.
