I have a secure credit card with First Progress Bank and I used to pay some service online, next thing I know is a letter that came on the mail saying that there was some suspicious transaction that they needed to verify and they were going to put an stop on the card until I call to verify. What is my surprised when I call for that issue, the hold period on the phone is 10 min. when they answer they put you on hold for 2-3 min. at the time any time they need to verify what you are telling them and .... if that is not enough after you answer all their interrogatory, they put you on hold one more time and come back and tell me that I needed to send a copy of my SS, ID and - utility bills to verify that is me, so I go ahead and fax the documents out to their fax and when I call to verify they received, hoping that was the end of my night mare ... no the supervisor said that the copy of my ID and SS card were to dark that they could not read it, that I needed to send another. After all this I 've been on the phone for 3 hours with them
