I leased a vehicle through Ally Financial. Immediately upon leasing the vehicle I turned on the auto pay feature through Ally 's website to play the bill in full every month, Subsequent to that, the sales tax increased, increasing the amount due on the bill. However, Ally never informed me of the increase nor changed the amount the automatic payment feature offered by their website paid. So now, a year and a half later when I am getting ready to turn the vehicle in, I am finally informed that their is a past due balance. Ally will not give me any information on any penalties or interest charge to me due to this error in how there system is set up nor will they provide an answer on if this has impacted my credit scores.
