I cosigned a private student loan for my sister. She used it for lawyers as she was getting divorced. She never used the funds for college. I went into bankruptcy and they refused to discharge this loan even though it was n't federally guaranteed and the monies were not used for educational expenses. I 'm out of bankruptcy now and all of my student loans are suddenly under Navient along with my sister 's loan. I 'd like to discharge them all.
