I am writing to dispute the following information in my credit history regarding my Visa Chase - MileagePluse Select number - - - -. I have noted these items and I disputed this matter more than once with Chase directly with no response or further communications. I have been a loyal customer of Chase Visa for the last 17+ years. My wife and I used only this credit card and utilized the strong benefits. After years of on-time payment, a payment was missed during my work transfer to -, -. On - -, 2013 my family and I moved from California to -, -. Before leaving the United States, we activated the mail forwarding services through the US post office. We paid all our bills and made sure all balances were - for credit cards, utilities, telecom, - and Internet services. I retained my US cell phone number - - -, and have it on file at any utility, bank, credit card providers, etc. I made phone contact with my credit card companies to flag the impending change and possible usage of the cards abroad. As is evident from my credit report, I was able to clear all my bills on time, except for Chase, because I was not alerted through direct communication via email, phone call or text message from Chase that there was a payment due. I firmly maintain that this does n't justify reporting me to the credit bureau and closing the account without any communications. Attached copy of the report I received from the credit bureaus recently.
