When I enquired about why I was n't receiving the bonus rewards, I was referred back and forth between Amazon customer service and Chase customer service, until an employee denied my request. I was denied for various reason. One was that I did n't receive an email invitation, although that requirement is not mentioned anywhere on my Amazon cardmember page. Another reason given was that my inquiry as to why I was n't receiving the bonus was late : in that the enrollment period had expired. There is no reference to an enrollment period in my offer and I had thought that I was enrolled. I had promptly clicked the invitation on my Amazon cardmember page and assumed that I was enrolled. I continued to appeal. A Chase employee did offer to credit my account for a few months and advised me to contact her if I wanted to receive the bonus until the program end. I tried to contact the representative by phone on a few occasions. I was unable to navigate the phone menu to her extension because it was n't recognized and because she was not listed in the employees phone directory. I had also attempted to contact her by email. An other employee responded and agreed to honor the approximately three months of bonus points accumulated but refused to honor further enrollment in the program. Additionally, my points may have been adversely affected the month following the bonus addition. I had initiated the inquiry around -/-/-. I had enrolled in the program a few months earlier. I did n't keep records, because I did n't realize that there would be a problem.
