JPMorgan Chase & Co. Credit card department,

Closing/Cancelling account North Carolina

We received a letter from our credit card company ( Chase ) stating that we were a risk to the reputation of their financial institution and our account was being closed. This was especially alarming due to the fact that when we tried to call about our mortgage ( with the same company ), the company was unable to verify our identity. I tried to inquire about how I could make sure I was n't being hacked and received zero help. We tried to contact the service number linked to our credit card about our account being closed and not a single person would give me more information than " I was a risk to their financial reputation ''. The only answer we got was that they had the right to close an account at any time and they were unable to give us any other information. Frankly, the representative we spoke with was extremely rude. We tried to talk to her boss and was told that she was the boss and no one was over ( even the CEO when we asked about that ). That is alarming in itself. We called three different times with no response. My concern is that we are being identified incorrectly and we are unable to get any further assistance from the company in finding out what is going on with both our accounts. We have the right to know why they are making these decisions and why they ca n't verify our identity on our mortgage over the phone. Chase has been the worst company we have experienced working with. We are both high-standing citizens, have good credit, pay our bills on time, and also respect our reputation. We do n't feel that being blacklisted over something we are pretty sure we did n't do, is appropriate. The company is un-willing to communicate with us over this matter and I feel that they are very disrespectful to their customers.
