I got a prescreen offer for Chase 's - - - card for - bonus miles with an application link. I applied through the link and after being approved found out that they had pushed me into a different card offer - - with only - bonus miles, different fee structure, etc ). I emailed customer service, explaining that I had applied under the link for the offer they sent me, and requested that they give me what I had been offered initially. They said they would n't honor it ; that I had now been given the - offer and only new - - - cardmembers can get the - offer. I explained that I HAD applied for the - offer and only got the - offer, and that I had been deceived or tricked. I asked for information on how to close the account, reverse the effect on my credit, since I was duped. They they only responded by telling me I could n't have the offer the sent to me in the mail.
