Synchrony Financial Credit card department,
Credit line increase/decrease New Jersey
-/-/- during the Holiday season Walmart approved me for a credit card without any income verification. Since then I have paid my account on time and paid off the entire balance twice. In - - I actually paid my account twice -/-/- and -/-/- although payment was due on - - which was a Sunday. In -/-/- I was charged a late fee but I was given credit on -/-/-. In - my credit limit was decreased to $400.00 without any justification, I called customer service to dispute the matter and after verifying my net income, Walmart declined to increase my limit again to $500.00. -/-/- - increased my credit limit to $1000.00 because I 'm a good customer. I have been a good customer to Walmart also. Since obtaining the Walmart credit card in - -, I have actually lowered my debts and increased my credit score. Walmart reduced my credit limit unfairly. Walmart is using deceptive practices in providing quick credit approvals then re-tracking themselves after 6 months of paid interest at 23 %. The approval in -/-/- at the $500.00 limit was based solely on my zip code, nothing else was asked.
