Vehicle loan Shopping for a loan or lease Indiana
- -, -, my husband and I went to - -, - IN to look at vehicles. We thought we had purchased a - Ford Edge. Ally financial was the finance company who was financing the vehicle. We took the vehicle home that same night. I put insurance on it but I was never able to register the vehicle. I received a letter of denial from Ally date - -, - stating they could not finance the vehicle. I called Ally and I called - in regards to the letter of denial. Ally said I should contact -. I returned the car on - -, -. I could not get anywhere with -. Ally processed the loan anyway even though I had returned the car. The car was sold at auction some time around -/-/-. Then they claimed that I still owed them $8800.00. This is a charge off. I do not owe them anything. There was never any agreement to the modified terms of the contract. I never signed any additional papers. There was no meeting of the minds. And once you make changes to the original contract that voids the deal. Which is what happened. I have supporting documents to prove my case.
