TD Bank US Holding Company Consumer Loan department,
Vehicle loan Managing the loan or lease North Carolina
I have an auto loan with TD Auto Finance that was taken out in - -. My payments began in - -. I am enrolled in the auto-pay feature on the TD Auto Finance Website. Since the loan was originated and payments made in -/-/-, -/-/-, -/-/- and - - I have not received a single account statement via mail or able to access statements online when I login. I called into TD Auto Finance on - -, - and was told that since I am enrolled in " auto-pay '' they do not send statements nor are statements accessible online. This is absurd. As an account holder and payor I should be able to access my account statements at any time. They said if I wanted statements I would have to call in every time to request them. Why should the benefit of receiving or accessing an account statement be removed if a payor is enrolled in auto-pay? The auto-pay is a benefit to the creditor as they are more likely to get payment on time. As a consumer I feel like my account data is being kept from me in hopes that I will miss a payment so that additional loan fees, interest and penalties can be assessed.
