I had a loan with TD auto finance. I refinanced with - - - -. - - sent TD a check to payoff the loan and they have proof that the check was recieved by someone at td on - -. Since then they have not cashed the check and they are trying to get me to continue paying them. I 've called them multiple times and they ca n't seem to figure out what happened to the check. I showed them the proof it was recieved and they keep writing a note on the account to research the problem. That 's all they ever tell me. They even spoke to carter federal and admitted to them that their cashiers department is backed up. Well here we are a month later and in 4 days my account for td will be 30 days over due and it will be reported to the credit agency. I have excellent credit and I do n't want it ruined because of a company 's incompetence and failure to cash a check and post it to my account in a reasonable amount of time.
