Capital One Mortgage Complaint

FHA mortgage Application, originator, mortgage broker

Capital One Mortgage department,

FHA mortgage Application, originator, mortgage broker Iowa

I applied for a mortgage from Capital One. In early discussions I told the consultant that I was in the process of deciding if I should buy a house now and take a new position within the same company later in 2016 and wanted to know what I could qualify for at this time. I completed the loan application and was told by the consultant that she would not complete the application until after I had applied for, been offered and accepted the new position and had been in the position for 2 years. I did not receive an appropriate declination letter and I do not believe that I would have been declined with my income and my credit score. the consultant decided on her own that it would be better for me to apply when I had - a year income rather than - a year income. that way I could buy a larger house, take a larger loan and increase her commission on the sale.
