Payday loan Can't contact lender Can't contact lender Rhode Island

I took out a - advance in 2009 to advance america.I get a threatning call today saying I need to pay them - this month or thell take out of my pay.they said the tried to attempt to send court papers to my old adress and it went unanswered.this isnt fair.this happened to me few months ago with someone else and they took - mo iut of my pay.can I file bankrupcy to avoid this? I never got a chance to give court my answer
