JARED 'S JEWELERS CLOSED MY CREDIT CARD ACCOUNT THAT HAD ALWAYS BEEN IN POSITIVE STANDING FOR OVER 3 YEARS. I NEVER RECEIVED ANY NOTIFICATION BY PHONE OR MAIL THAT MY CREDIT CARD ACCOUNT WAS GOING TO BE CLOSED. I HAVE BEEN AN OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER WITH THAT CREDIT CARD ACCOUNT. I WAS EMBARRASSED WHEN I TRIED TO GO AND MAKE A PURCHASE AND THE CARD WAS DECLINED. I FELT AS IF THE COMPANY WAS DISCRIMINATING AGAINST ME BECAUSE OF MY CREDIT RATING OR SOME OTHER FACTOR THAT MADE THEM CLOSE MY ACCOUNT.
