- continues to call daily. In - of this year I was offered a settlement by said company to pay off a closed - account. I took it and paid $170.00. This month they began calling stating that - refused the settlement and I still owed the remaining balance. I stated to them that they need to refund what I paid and I will be happy to continue with the payment plan I was current on. Because by accepting payment and sending me a paid in full receipt debt was paid. Calls continue.
