JPMorgan Chase & Co. Credit card department,
APR or interest rate Connecticut
I called the Chase credit card company to check the payment allocation rules before taking a Cash Advance. I was informed that a repayment would be allocated first to the Minimum Payment Due and after that against the highest interest balance. I took the advance. A while later when I was able to repay the advance, I checked my account online. The Cash Advance balance was showing, as was the Minimum pPayment Due. I made a payment sufficient to cover both. None of the payment was allocated to the Cash Advance balance. When I phoned to enquire they said I repaid it too early. I had to hold the Cash Advance Balance until the next statement. I do not think that is fair and i was not informed of that when I enquired before taking the advance.
