I paid off my auto loan in full n -/-/2016 with US Bank. I call in to their Auto loan department and when it asks me for my last - digits of my social security number, it finds a mortgage account and takes me to their department. They have tried to transfer me to their auto loan division but I am asked for my social and get transferred back to their mortgage department. I am now two months into having paid my car loan in full and they have in all likelihood sent the title to my old address. There is no US Bank location within - miles of my location ( per their website ) and I cam unable to contact them via phone. Meanwhile, somebody else has the title to my car and can now legally sell it without my knowledge. My address was current in their system since my new condo is financed through them. I would caution anybody from having more than one type of loan with US Bank.
