DON`T LET A BULLY MANAGER RUIN YOUR DAY! I`ve been a customer of Chase Bank for many years, my family members and I have several account with chase Bank including Chase Investments . I walked into the - branch # - to withdrawal $1000.00 to deposit into a - account. After I withdrawal the money, the Banker named - - said, " you can make the external transfer here, you don`t need to go to -. '' I then remembered I had already set up an external deposit for this account a while back, just had not used it yet.
The next day -/-/- I could see it on the chase account but - had no record of it. I called the branch talked to - - he was helpful and concerned. He called the processing center at chase and stayed on the phone with me, after along hold the associate told us the deposit transfer would take 2 days not 24hrs, I should see the deposit on -/-/-.Check back in the morning ... On -/-/-, Wednesday at - I called the - to check, they had no record of it processing. I then called the branch back talked to the manager, - -, who laughed at me for being so angry about the situation. He argued with me, telling me he heard his Banker say it would take 2 days to complete the process, he was stand near by listening to our conversation, they had done no wrong. It was my problem! My intention coming into the bank was to withdraw the money to walk it in to - so it would appear the next day so checks could go through. I was offered a different approach to my usual deposit from - -. The money never made it on Wednesday which would have been 2 days. I`m dissapointed with the manager, - - , he should have been more concerned as to why the deposit has not shown yet then to place judgement on a customer who is very worried about the $1000.00 taken from her account. The manager, - proceeded to check on the situation, putting me on a long hold, on his end he said he was calling the processing center. I asked him where and who he had talked to, he gave me a name of - - said they were in -. I made the comment " Oh Great '' He called me a -!!! for making that comment. I was referring to time frame being out of the country. I`m certainly not a -, I don`t appreciate being called one. I`m very upset with Chase having a manager who acts out at a customer like that, name calling to win his battle. - still has no record of my transfer! I will check again on Thursday, if - cant find it I want the money returned to my account and a BIG apology from the Branch Manager - for name calling! If he was standing by listening to my conversation with the Banker, he should have mentioned an external transfer is not 24hrs or - - ... it could take up to 3-4 days, you should just walk into -. This should have been handled differently! A professional manner without slandering the customer. Best Regards, - -
