Non-federal student loan Can't repay my loan Can't decrease my monthly payments California

One of my largest loans is $30000.00 that I took out in 2009 with a variable interest rate of 13.5 % this is without a consigner. This is the largest out of the $87000.00 I owe without interest.. Now I must go back to school to try and get a job so I can try and pay off my debt before I die. I am unable to consolidate any of my private student loans because of the insanely high interest rate and my income is all tip based ( hard to guarantee how much I will make in the years to come ). I would love to get a job with the degree that I currently have but can not do so because minimum wage would not be able to support me and the over $1000.00 monthly payments I will have to make to navient for he next 30 years. I just think it 's really funny how - - was able to sell off my debt to another company called Navient and I ca n't get them to lower my I interest rate to a single digit number like the government did with their loans. Navient or - - or whatever company holds my loans is the modern day loan shark. Right now I know I will never be able to buy a house or even get married. I thought going to college would help with my " American Dream '' but it has completely destroyed it.
