Closing/Cancelling account North Carolina
I received a letter on - -, 2016 from Chase stating that they were closing my account effective - - 2016 because " continuing the relationship creates possible reputational risk '' to their company. I immediately called Chase at the number provided on the letter. They then connected me with an " account specialist '' who really had no answer for me. All she said was that " chase has made a decision to end the relationship with my account and will be closing it ''! I asked why? No answer was given other than she had no notes in the system that could explain their reasoning??? I have not been late on a payment, never missed a payment and my balance is low! This will cause a negative effect on my credit score without just cause or reason. I would like Chase to reverse this decision.
