JPMorgan Chase & Co. Bank Account Or Service Complaint

Checking account Making/receiving payments, sending money

JPMorgan Chase & Co. Bank account or service department,

Checking account Making/receiving payments, sending money California

Paid my - bill online on - - after - via electronic transfer from my checking account. - website notified me it would take one " business day '' to process, i.e. - - ... - requires payment due by Sunday - - ... of course - is closed on Saturday and Sunday and its normal business hours are Monday to Friday but still somehow they want payment on - - ... a Sunday when their doors are closed, lights out and nobody available ... So that is one half of the problem. I could not pay my payment on a Sunday if my life depended on it, because there is no way to do it ... The second part of the problem is that bank super computers magically only processing bank transactions on " business days '' Monday to Friday ... and typically only to - in the evening. So I am questioning the logic of this old school banking protocol of only processing checking account

no reason banks can not perform checking account transactions 24/7 and every day of the week ... The reason is simple banks want to slow, postpone and make it difficult for folks to pay bills on time or manipulate timing of transactions because utility companies and banks get tremendous benefit from charging late fees and lack of fund fees based on manipulating the timing of transactions ... If they punch a few buttons on those super computers to provide mor prompt and timely checking account transactions to occur 24/7 they would have tremendeous losses in revenues due to all the late fees and lack of funds fees they steal from folks by manipulating the clock and using the " business day '' requirement that does not actually exist in an era of super computers that process transactions 24/7 ... It 's an outdated protocol from a time when bankers and tellers had to be present to assure transactions are processed ... But it 's all run by super computers now and it is an unnessecary protocol that is deteremental to consumers and the American economy ... checking account transactions for too big to fail banks should be done seven days a week as supercomputers rarely need the weekends off like humans and especially with all the redundancy and backup systems ... There is no good reason, explanation or excuse why these " to big to fail '' banks can not do checking account transactions 24/7 to the benefit of their customers/consumers ... Change is due!?
