RE : Equifax Temporary Freeze Lift Service tool free # - ; automated not user friendly and telephone prompts malfunction. I was not prompted to provided my - digit PIN Number by telephone and online Equifax service. On Tuesday, - -, 2016 I made five separate attempts to access the Temporary Freeze Lift from - -, 2016 to - -, 2016 to no avail. This morning - -, 2016 around -, I telephone Equifax at - and spoke with a live Customer Representative named - . - was instrumental in assisting me with the following : 1. Free Annual 2016 Credit Report ; 2. Educated me on the how long certain information remains on my credit history and provided me with a tool free number to speak with a customer representative that could temporary lift my credit freeze. - was most professional, informative and very polite. The toll free number I telephone was -, I spoke with customer representative " - '' I repeated the above request mentioned and was told that she could assist me but I would have to pay a $3.00 fee because I was speaking with a live rep. I explained to - that Equifax system


my credit card and charged me $3.00 then told me that due to the fact that she 's located in the - -, it would take approximately 2 weeks before my request would be processed. I asked - if I could speak with an American - in the city and state of -, GA and she told me no. The dates I need the lift is -/-/- to -/-/-. - waited until she got my credit card information and processed my card before she told me that the dates I need wo n't happen. This is not good customer service and I request the following : 1. That Equifax reinstate me to use the automated temporary freeze lift and not have to give my confidential information to to foreigners outside the United States. 2. Mail me a confirmation to : - - -, - - - -, -, - - # -, -, GA - and that it has included me in the automated phone listing so I can once again access my own temporary freeze lift and not be sent outside the U.S. which is a major red flag in dealing with my personal confidential information. 3. Allow me the opportunity to also conduct the temporary freeze lift online because It has also blocked me from doing it that way. 3. Refund me my $3.00 back to my card account because this is not my fault. 4. Please reply back to me within five ( 5 ) business work days regarding my complaint issue.
