I have always paid my account on time and more than the minimum payment. My - Nissan Sentra was financed through their own financing, NMAC. They recommended me to call NMAC and let them know that I had traded my car in and that the pay-off should be coming shortly. I did as instructed and left that day with my - Rogue. I had to come back to the finance department of - - on - - to re-sign the loan documents since I had financed through NMAC again. They informed me the payment was going to be sent out that day since I was signing the new loan documents that day. Multiple calls/texts had been exchanged prior to the vehicle
- had in fact failed to payoff my vehicle within thirty days of my original payment date, resulting with my credit score dropping over - - points. I sent an e-mail to - -, the GM of - -, on - - to inform him of my experience. In the e-mail I had requested that he take the necessary steps to address this experience and correct my delinquency on all - of my credit reports. This has taken me well over a year to have finally removed the delinquency and to try and repair my credit score. I never heard back from - - and my credit was never fixed so I moved forward. I filed a claim with the -. The response from - - was that it was my responsibility to follow up with the dealership to ensure the payoff was sent. After sending back a detailed verbatim response, - - had no further comment or feedback. Either - - or the - closed the case and listed my complaint as answered but unresolved/unsatisfactory.
