Non-federal student loan Can't repay my loan Can't decrease my monthly payments Indiana

I obtained a loan thru Navient previously known as - -. The loan is no longer available, but it was originally called a Tuition Answer loan. I have all my documents but I borrowed $5400.00 back on -/-/-. Not sure what happened between -/-/- and -/-/- but my loan increased to $10000.00. I was having financial difficulties and was not able to pay the loan on time and was behind and they finally worked out a payment with me -/-/-. Right now as of today the documents state that I will have repaid - by the time I pay this loan off which is RIDICOULOUS!!! That is way more than the amount I borrowed and I would like for this loan to be evaluated by the CFPB and see if there have been some unfair lending practices with this loan. I am in over my head with these loans and I am unable to file them on my taxes because I was told that they are not student loans and they wanted me to call the school to ask if they can certify the loans so I can get federal tax credit. I did n't call the school because I


never going to get these loans paid back and the amount is not going down. I have faithfully paid for the past 2 and a half years trying to keep my credit score from dropping but I do n't know how much longer I can stand to deal with this. I do n't understand why I am paying back 3 times what I borrowed. I am a single mother paying childcare. I would like to have loans that are affordable. I am not opposing paying the loans but It has been since -/-/- and I am still trying to pay back some money that I did n't borrow.
