Synchrony Financial Consumer Loan department,
Vehicle loan Managing the loan or lease Texas
I purchased a motorcycle back -/-/2015, which was financed through Synchrony Bank. When closing the sale the representative helping us at the dealership told us the payments would be automated and asked for our credit card information. The first payment was supposed to go through in -/-/-, but it never did so I called Synchrony Bank in -/-/- to see what was going on and what I needed to do to have them charge the payment to my card. They informed me that they did not process automatic payments via credit cards and that I 'd have to complete and return an authorization form allowing them to withdraw the monthly payments. I completed and returned the form along with a money order for the past due payment. In -/-/- I noticed that, again, the automatic payment had not been processed even though I had mailed them the authorization form so I called Synchrony Bank yet again. I was told I needed to mail them the form again and another money order, so I did. After that, I did not hear from them again so I assumed everything had gone through. Yesterday a repo man showed up at my mailing address to repossess the motorcycle - I was not there, nor was the motorcycle so they left a message with my brother for me to call them. Today I called Synchrony Bank to ask what was going on and they told me that my account had been sent to the collection department so they could not help me. When I reached out to the collection department they forwarded my call to the repo department who hung up on me when I requested someone who spoke - since my spoken English is not great.
