I am - for the - and since the market crashed, I took a pay cut. Based on that, I had to modify my loan ( Mortgage ) so that I could afford my monthly mortgage. During the modification, In the month of - 2015, I submitted my payment as usual. Nation Star who is my lender, removed the money out of my account on - -, 2015 in the amount of -. No that I am attempting to refinance my loan, It was brought to my attention that Nation Star indicated that I was late on my - 2015 payment and it has affected my credit report. I contacted Nation Star and they advised me upon checking their records/notes that it was a mistake and that it should not be noted on my credit report. This has affected me because its stopping me from refinancing my loan so that I can have a more affordable payment and provide for my family.
