U.S. Bancorp Consumer Loan Complaint

Vehicle lease Managing the loan or lease California

I have just completed a lease on a - Chevy Volt, for which I paid - per month and had also purchased the Excess Wear and Tear Insurance. I had also extended the lease for a few months. US Bank is the holder of the lease. On - -, -, I returned the car to - -. On - -, US Bank took the monthly payment on the car. When I called, a representative said that the money would be returned within two weeks by check. This never happened. Instead on - -, I received a bill for termination fee ( - ) and excess wear and tear ( - ) and sales taxes ( - ), totalling -, with the statement that the car was returned on - -. I called and said that I had 'ding ' insurance and that the car was returned earlier. This representative said that the monthly amount would be deducted in a new bill, but that the - was for tires, which are not covered. Besides being very upset at a bill of - for tires, I asked to see the damage report. The representative had just lied, presumably to get me to pay a unnecessary bill. A new bill arrived for - ( - - - ). After the report arrived, I called again, and the next representative said that indeed the - would be deducted, but not the tax amount and that a corrected bill would be for -. Instead, a new bill arrived identical with the second bill. I would like to see a correct bill. Furthermore, as a result of the mendacity of representatives of US Bank, I hardly believe their representatives, when they say I should pay a sales tax on repairs provided by an insurance, especially as I have no idea who does the repairs or where. It seems that their phone representatives just try, honestly or not, to get people to pay any amount they can pull out of them.
