JPMorgan Chase & Co. Credit card department,
I have had a credit card with Chase Business and was told that this will not be reported on my personal credit unless the card is delinquent 90 days. I had a chase card for several years and in - - my dad passed. I made a payment over the phone and it was not credited on time so Chase escalated my rate from 8 % to 29.99 % I wrote corporate and they told me too bad. I closed the account and they than escalated the payment much higher that the $150.00 per month that we had budgeted. I have until the - of next month before this would be 90 days yet I am now being told it will report after 60 days. Nothing has been consistent with this bank and they are frauding the public when this happens. I asked to have call recorded and they denied me yet say they are doing this on their own. I no longer have card and responded to a letter from them telling me they would work with me by lowering the rate if qualified or negotiate a settlement I spoke to a - a - ( - ) who
hits 90 days. I am in the credit field and such an action will result in me losing my job. Their actions of raising the rate for not properly posting a payment and then telling me hey could care less ( essentially ) caused the rate and the payment to go higher than what we had budgeted.I have personal credit card accounts with this company and have never missed a beat ( as high as ( $30000.00 ) - I am afraid that the attitude of too big to fail has truly created this '' monster '' that feels they are beyond complying to the laws and gives them the right to do anything to anyone without any recourse. Hard working people such as ourselves and the middle class bailed them out and have put the public at jeopardy. My card number ends with -. I am afraid without the government intervening in this injustice that after the - of next month it will have additional repercussions and destroy my credit. Letter I received prompting this was - -, -. Phone number for contact was : - or -
