I have had an ongoing issue with Chase pertaining to a late payment incurred on my credit report for a missed payment for - 2015, which reported as a - 2015 late payment. The late stems due to the mistake of the booking keeping service I hired to pay my bills ), who failed to submit a payment to Chase, while at the same time sent m a month end statement that showed Chase had been paid. Hence I was not aware of the missed payment. I paid the account soon as the delinquency was brought to my attention. I had called Chase and was asked by them to send them proof of this error and in turn they 'd remove the late payment under the fact that the late was due to a " 3rd party error. I not only sent them the letter from the book keeping service, but I also sent them a copies of my - - bank statements, which showed I had over $230000.00 at the time of the missed payment ( see attached statements ). Chase however responded back, by simply sending me statements and claiming that the payment was not received on time and that they wo n't remove the late payment despite the fact that I have proven to them this was a 3rd party error and I had sufficient funds to make the payment ( see attached response ). Additionally, another - bill of mine had fallen behind on the same date due to the bookkeeper 's error, and - was more than willing to remove the late payment when I presented my case.
