Conventional adjustable mortgage (ARM) Loan modification, collection, foreclosure Michigan
Ocwen Loan Servicing LLC offered a " PERMANENT '' modification for my mortgage which was for a specified a fixed rate ( not the current ARM ). The paperwork was to be sent back to Ocwen by - -, 2016 with the initial payment due by - -, 2016. I sent the paperwork AND the initial payment of $410.00 by -. It was delivered on - - and the payment was posted on - - as a " forbearance payment ''. Now Ocwen has changed it to a " TRIAL '' modification plan and sent a letter today ( - - ) saying I have missed a trial plan payment! Everything said the next payment of $410.00 was due on - -, 2016. How could a payment be missed already, just 2 weeks later? I was to make a payment by - - and the next - -. They want - payments now before - -. This is a bait and switch tactic and it appears they have been doing this for a while now, according to the website -. Many Ocwen mortgage holders seem to have experienced the same thing, receiving paperwork that indicated one thing and then more paperwork saying something else, or seeing their account on the Ocwen website say one thing and seeing it changed to something else a day later! They are playing games with people.
