I have a Care Credit Card. I have called the company several different times since 2012. I had a - and was late on some of my payments. I called them to find out what options I had to get back on track since I was off work going back and forth to doctors to see what exactly was wrong with me. It took a year to find out that I had actually had - strokes. In this time frame, I was not using the card for my doctor bills because I have insurance. But to make a long story short, I have paid all my promotional balances off according to my online statement. Today I called them and the representative tried to tell me I have an old promotional balance of like $4.00 and then something about a balance of $200.00 that is being charged interest. There is no open balances on my statement. The total amount of $2200.00 is marked as unpromotional balance - which means interest on top of interest. No one can explain any of this to me. I have not been able to get anyone to help me resolve this issue since 2012. I am at my wits end to get this resolved. I do n't feel like I owe this but when I spoke to a representative and tried to get help I was informed by him that his supervisor told me to call -. I called that number and it is to a debt collection agency or company to like consolidate debt and get on a monthly payment plan or something. I just want every one else that is considering getting a Care Credit Card to refrain from doing so. It is definitely not a reputable company.
