JPMorgan Chase & Co. Credit card department,
I responded to an offer from Chase Slate Visa to transfer balances from other credit cards to theirs for an introductory offer of 0 % and no balance transfer. This offer was clearly stated in the mailing I received in - 2016. I was approved and attempted to transfer a balance from another visa account on-line. I received a letter a few days later telling me the balance transfer was not processed because, " the payee address in unknown '' interesting to note they never asked for the address. Upon receiving the chase slate visa card, I activated it and called their customer support to attempt to process the balance transfer I was attempting to do previously. This time the agent tells me the account I gave them to transfer was n't a visa account. The visa credit card I have a balance on that I wanted to pay off using the new chase slate visa, was issued from - - - - and is a legitimate visa credit card account - their address is -. - - - - UT -, my account is through a branch in - UT. The slobs at chase slate visa have clearly sent fraudulent information in a mailing, ( which I have copies of ) to entice me to sign up for a credit card account without honoring their 0 %, no balance transfer fee offer. This practice is unethical and illegal, and I do n't appreciate their deceit.
