Conventional fixed mortgage Loan modification,collection,foreclosure Connecticut

Working on a short sale with this servicer since -/-/- when - service-released the loan to them. We lost one buyer already, but have a new buyer/offer in since -/-/-. My understanding is that all files must be reviewed by The Committee prior to approval. I called twice today and was told that the file is still waiting to be reviewed by The Committee and that I should call back next week for an update.
