In - of - my wife and I refinanced a Home Equity Line of Credit which is, in essence, our home mortgage. We went through the refinance through - Bank to pay off - - - - and signed - Bank 's form authorizing Payoff and Closure of this account on - - -. I have tried repeatedly to recover the funds that were transferred to BSI Financial from - - - - on - - -. I 've been told on several occasions ( including today, - - - the complaint department was investigating the complaint and would have a resolution by the end of the month ( - - ) again, I was told the same story just today. I have a check dated - -, - in the amount of $240.00 which I will not cash until I receive the $19000.00 because I wo n't cash it and have BSI say they owe me nothing more because I closed the account when cashing the check. Given the fact most checks are null and void after 90 days the check I presently have will expire on - -, - and I will have to fight to get THAT money reimbursed as well. I 'm tired of the stonewalling and not to mention the $30.00 maintenance fee they charged on a zero balance account that should have never been transferred to them in the first place.
