We went into - - in - to talk about trading in our vehicle in -. We ended up with a - Nissan Sentra. I looked at the sticker price and the dealer said " do n't even look at that amount because that is n't what you are going to pay ''. ( the - 's were out and they wanted to get rid of this vehicle ). We did pay the total sticker price and anything else they could add on. We spent from first thing in the morning until late afternoon listening about things not even pertaining to the sell of the car that we did n't know if we were coming or going. We were also talked into things we did not want ie ... VSC and GAP that we thought we were signing a decline for. The dealer also said that they would pay the full payoff of our trade-in and not worry about it. ( he did n't lie, it was just tacked onto the new car ). We should have looked at the contract better but by the time we left the place we were so tired of being there we just left.


had the owner in the office and they faxed a cancellation of the VSC and the GAP and gave us the confirmation copy showing the refund amount that would be taken from the payment of the new car. It is now -, - and have not seen any changes to our statements that they reimbursed this money so I faxed the copy we had again and said it was a duplicate and stated we still have not seen anything. We heard nothing. We called - -, - and they told us that the department that takes care of the VSC and GAP did not receive any paperwork to do this. ( I have the confirmation number and the " OK '' results that it was received back in - - and I also faxed it a second time!! ). Update : The above was sent to the - and - Nissan of - issued a check and supposedly sent it to Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation. NMAC says they have not received a check from them even though - Nissan of - sent us a copy of the check saying they did and that Nissan Corporation cashed it on - -. Neither company will talk to each other about this missing check and when my husband and I talk to either of them they both refer us to call the other on the matter or will not return our calls. This has been ongoing with - Nissan of - since - -, -. Again, it is our fault for not following closely to what was being done but we do know that we will NEVER deal with this company again.
