I have had a Chase Freedom card since 2007. My interest rate at the start was - My credit was bad, I was lucky to get a card at all. Since them they have raised my credit limit three times, from $4000.00 to $13000.00. I have made every payment on time as proved by my credit reports from all the reporting agencies. My last payment to them was $9000.00 which left me a balance of $760.00. My credit score is -. When I asked them to lower my rate. They said no. I pointed out my payment history, they said I had the lowest rate available at that time. On credit card sites, the highest rate listed for this card is 23.27 % I and paying - points ABOVE that. Usury springs to mind.
