I clicked on a website for 'get current mortgage rates ' and filled out my name, address. Immediately someone from Quicken Loans called me. I specifically told him all I wanted was current rates and he said he just wanted to know about my current situation so he could see if he could help. He then apparently submitted a mortgage application in using my name because I received a denial letter. I did not apply for any mortgage from this company and this has to be illegal on their part.
