I applied for a chase credit card on -/-/2016 my - profile and - and - recommends me to apply for a Chase Freedom credit card. I must of forget to follow up on the inquiry on -/-/- I receive a letter from Chase to contact them. I was told because I have a fraud alert on my credit file, but with no contact number I would have to contact -. So I called my senator and he gave me the corporate number of -. I talked with - of the Executive office he was surprised that someone was able to bypass the automated system and come in on a straight call. He updated my fraud alert phone number on my credit file, he said that it would take minutes to update. So, I had a previous dispute report number I used it and the proper information he place was in my credit report with my contact number of -. I called back to Chase bank today on the -/-/2016 and after the agent verified the code sent to my cell phone, she said " you called here yesterday '' I said yes I did I told her the story like I explained in the above, she did not do anything. Her voice and tone were very rude. I asked for a supervisor she said why then the phone discoed
