My home has been in foreclosure status for several years. I have repeatedly ask for a deed in lieu of foreclosure. I 've received numerous collection calls and one of the first questions they ask is if I reside in the home. I assume this is for them to ensure that the 'asset ' or home is secure and protected. I live in the home. I received notification for Sheriff Sale posted on my door on - -, 2016 with notification of sale on - - 2016. The sale is inevitable, but the month notification is not adequate in order to secure a new residence. When I purchased the residence I was making in excess of - a year, I did not work for 2 years after purchasing the residence and now work full time but make less than - a year. I 'm unable to keep the residence.
