I have a property in contract for sale scheduled to close by - -, 2016 to a qualified buyer. At the same time, there is a Trustee Sale on the property scheduled for - -, 2016. I requested Ocwen ( the lender ) to postpone the TS for - weeks. I told them they will be paid in full ( this is a line of credit on the property ). They said they ca n't do anything about it at this time and ask me to call the attorney 's office who is handling the sale to see if they can do something about it for me. I talked to the attorney 's office and they said it is up to the lender to decide and sent me back to talk to the lender. I was given a Relationship manager name of - - and a phone number to contact her at - - -. Unfortunately, no one by that name ever answers the phone. I have been calling several times and each time, a different person would tell me to do this and that but no one seems helpful. I understand the lender wants to be paid as soon as possible so I do n't understand why they are not interested in helping me out so they can get their money.
