Because of an error on American Express ' end, I occurred a fees totaling a - dollars on a banking account I was in the process of occurring. On - -, I spoke with - - who was the first person who promised to refund the fees as soon as soon as I provided documentation. Because of the hassle I had already been through, I too recorded the phone conversation and would be happy to provide that. Once I provided documentation, I never heard from anyone. After calling in and being passed around, I spoke with a supervisor named - -. He told I could " consider it done '' and he would contact me again within 24-48 hours. That too never happened. I called tonight, was once again passed around to various departments, and was told that - - was not in the office and they were n't sure why he had n't contact me but they were unable to do anything. The supervisor I spoke with tonight said he should be contacting me tomorrow. I told them I was filing a complaint tonight as this issue has gone on for too long. I 've literally spent 4+ hours being passed around with no results.
